Status Report: Enlarging state workshops and institutions

History will prove that you have done very well. By 1814, the number of craftsmen of Woolwich Arsenal will have risen to 5,000. They not only produce armaments but also carry out research. Their work is indeed crucial for winning the war.

Still, there is more work to do. The army’s demand is high, and Britain’s allies are in need of small-arms, too.
