French Influence at Burton Constable, Furniture History; Vol. 8
The Furniture History Society, 1972
Architectural Historian Ivan Hall has dedicated much of his research to Burton Constable Hall and the architecture of the Georgian Age in Derbyshire and Yorkshire. His article about the French influence at Burton Constable Hall was published in the magazine Furniture History, which was founded in 1964 to study furniture of all periods, places and kinds, to increase knowledge and appreciation of it, and to assist in the preservation of furniture and its records.
The article was useful for writing my post “Writer’s Travel Guide: Burton Constable Hall“.
